Tote Backpack Pannier – Black Cordura, Brown Bridle Leather
The New Alban Tote Backpack Pannier is the latest iteration of our minimal and extremely versatile hybrid pannier backpack. Converting quickly and easily from bike bag to backpack, it can also be worn as a cross body / messenger bag, a shoulder bag or carried by its handles when off your bike.
The new larger 15 litre bag sports a front zip pocket to stow your shoulder / backpack strap when the bag is on your bike and also has 2 x side drink bottle pockets. Ideal as a daypack for work but large enough to fit a 15” Laptop, this bag is fully cotton lined, has an internal padded laptop compartment and a high density foam padded back protector for comfort when wearing.
The bag quickly and easily attaches and secures to a rear luggage rack with a pair of coated stainless steel hooks, bridle leather loops with press stud closure and has a removable 40mm webbing shoulder strap for on bike use, which is easily attached and adjusted for converting to backpack, messenger bag or shoulder bag use.
This bag is light, strong and durable and is made from waterproof Cordura with brown single piece veg tanned Italian leather throughout. The bag fabric has a high tensile strength, can withstand long term wear is highly abrasive resistant and weatherproof.

Coated stainless steel pannier rack hook attachments:
This bag is fitted with coated stainless steel clips designed to fit cycle rack tubing up to 12mm in diameter (most racks).
The hooks can be adjusted inwards (or outwards) if required. Please note, if using hooks on tubing thinner than 8mm, the hooks can be closed by 1 to 2mm with a pair of pliers to ensure hooks snap securely on to your luggage rack.
If your rack tubing is 8mm -12mm, the first couple of fits when new may be tight but the hook will adjust to fit your rack.
(NB If changing your rack from thicker to thinner tubing, the hooks will need to be adjusted inwards / tightened with a pair of pliers to fit)

Do not machine wash or dry clean.
Allow any mud to dry, and then gently brush off with a soft, lint free, fabric pad.
Sponge gently or wipe gently clean with a cold very slightly damp cloth or brush.
Do not use soap.
Always allow the bag to dry thoroughly after use in a cool, airy environment.
Never pack away damp.

Alban will repair or replace any products found to be defective within the range of common and everyday use. Our warranty does not apply to damage caused by accidents and/or wear and tear.
