Definitions

In these conditions the following terms shall have the following meaning: "The Company" means Alban Bicycle Bags Limited. "Customer" means the customer of the company. "Contract" means any contract for the sale of goods by The Company to the Customer.


Payment

Payments will be pre-authorised at the time of placing an order. No goods shall be supplied without payment. Payment will be taken from your chosen payment method within 30 days of placing your order as the authorisation will lapse. We will not charge your card until your order is ready to be shipped.

We use Paypal to process online payments; they handle the transaction on our behalf and as such we do not at any time gain access to your full payment method details, except your address which is necessary in order for us to fulfil your order.

 

International shipping 

We ship internationally every day and we can deliver to you quickly, safely and easily. Shipping is a flat rate per order, and delivery is trackable through Royal Mail or courier depending on your country and choice on checkout.

All international orders will require a signature on receipt. Please choose a delivery address during checkout where there is a good chance of you accepting the delivery, ie a work address if you are not at home. If you aren't available when your parcel is delivered, a card will be left with instructions on how to collect or to organise redelivery.

Delivery Time

From the moment you place an order you will be kept fully informed of its status by email, from receipt to despatch.

All UK orders are despatched on a next day tracked courier service. For exports we use a courier or a Royal Mail tracked and signed service dependent on whether you select free standard or tracked expedited shipping

On average:

  • UK customers - Orders should be with you within 1 - 2 working days after dispatch.
  • EU customers - Tracked orders should be with you within 5 working days after dispatch. Free Ship within 1 to 2 weeks
  • Rest of Europe customers - Tracked Orders should be with you within 5 - 7 working days after dispatch. Free Ship within 1 to 2 weeks
  • Rest of World customers - Tracked Orders should be with you approximately 7 - 10 days after dispatch. Free Ship within 1 to 2 weeks

 

Notice

All orders shipped outside of the EU may be liable for customs charges, and these tend to vary between different countries. We will do our best to ensure that your order is processed smoothly, and take all measures to limit any of these charges with clear labelling. However, we take no responsibility for these costs, and cannot amend custom declaration values.

Stock

Items ordered that are in stock should be dispatched within 24 hours of the order being placed.


Claims

Claims arising from damage, delay or partial loss of the goods in transit must be made in writing to Alban Bicycle Bags within seven working days of delivery. Alban Bicycle Bags shall be afforded reasonable opportunity to investigate any claim made hereunder, and the Customer shall, if so requested in writing or verbally by Alban Bicycle Bags, promptly return any of the goods subject to any claim and any packing materials securely packaged to Alban Bicycle Bags for examination.

 

Liability

If the Customer establishes that any of the goods have not been delivered, or have been delivered damaged, or are not of the correct quantity, Alban Bicycle Bags shall at its option, replace them with similar goods, or allow the Customer credit for their invoice value.

If the Customer establishes that any of the goods are defective Alban Bicycle Bags shall at its option, replace them with similar goods or allow the Customer credit for their invoice value.

In no circumstances shall the liability of Alban Bicycle Bags to the Customer under this condition exceed the invoice value of the goods.


Returns

If you would like to exchange an item or return an item for a refund, please send us an email within 14 days of receipt of your purchase and we will provide you with our returns address. Then post us your returned item(s) complete with original packaging and tags (if included) and a note of your name and address details. To ensure we receive your bag, it is advised to send by a signed for service. Once your return arrives, we can then inspect your bag and issue a refund. Returns must be recieved back to us within 14 days of authorisation

Please ensure:

  • All tags, tickets and labels are attached
  • The item should be unused and as new
  • Please retain the original packaging and return items as you received them, or we will unfortunately not be able to offer an either exchange or refund.
  • Return your item in outer packaging that will offer adequate protection

 

International returns / exchanges

Please mark your package as: RETURNED GOODS. This must be clearly written on your country specific customs information document on the outside of the packaging or on the package itself. If not written, there is a chance that your return will be refused on entry to UK customs and sent back to you. 

Please remember that Alban Bicycle Bags Limited is not responsible for incorrectly marked returned items, or any associated return import costs.

We offer a 14 day refund policy from the date of receiving the goods. In this instance all refunds exclude postage costs, unless an error has been made by us.


Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell or rent the information you provide us to anyone.


Product Specifications

Alban Bicycle Bags reserve the right to alter specifications to those stated on the website, including slight differences in colour and shade. The Customer's statutory rights will not be affected.
